“California Western School of Law’s International Legal Studies Program is a complete educational experience. It gave me a classroom education and real-world experience that is vital to any student. I was fortunate enough to have great professors who understand the growing field of international law and who also worked very hard to help me explore the endless possibilities available to new international lawyers.
During my time at California Western School of Law, I held two amazing internships to supplement my classroom learning. One summer I worked in the Federal Appellate Court for Economic Crimes in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
This exposed me to a foreign body of law and taught me to adapt quickly to a new legal environment. Next, I discovered Outer Space Law.
Because California Western School of Law is keen to help students achieve their dreams, I was able to work for the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs in Vienna, Austria.
This experience let me work with international laws and treaties on an incredible level. I attended UN Conferences and negotiations, drafted UN documents for the subcommittees, and attended numerous outer space law workshops around Europe (Spain, Austria, and Ukraine). I ended up working at UNIDROIT. If it had not been for California Western’s emphasis on both classroom education and practical experience, my horizons could not have expanded the way they have.
